Had a great couple of weekend rides with my oldest riding mate Andrew; his sister taught me to ride a Honda CG125 around their front lawn in 1981. Andrew recently replaced his 2018 Tuono with the latest, all-singing all-dancing Tuono Factory. It's a very pretty bike and the level of finish is terrific. And it goes just as well as my 2018 SP, I think I have more corner exit punch than him, but there's bugger all in it. We are both very happy (grown-up) boys.

Hi there. This is very interesting thread for me since i am selling my MT10 SP after 3 years of ownership and 15000 miles and plan to purchase new Aprilia tuono v4 1100 factory. Since i don't have Aprilia dealer near by to test and see bike in person, i am relaying on forums wisdoms π. I read many reviews about v4 1100 (as i read for MT10 before i bought it) but few things i would like to know if you and your friend can compare this two bikes.
1. Handling (my MT10 is great bike but feel little heavy on short fast turns)
2. Gear box and quickshifter (MT10 have only up shift but works flawlessly, no false neutrals like on some Ducatis i owned)
3. Consumption (MT 10 is thirsty beast but Tuono could be even thirstier π¬)
If you can think of anything else interesting, just writeπ
Thanks

I have so far resisted the urge to suggest a bike swap, but I know Andrew is in love with his Tuono and has commented on how good the up/down QS is. I think the fuel use is very similar between the bikes.
