Hello everybody, a friend gifted me a quick shifter from an R1. Says they are cross compatible. I obviously have to purchase a shorter shifter rod but wanted to check in and make sure this is true, that they are indeed compatible and let me know if I'm missing anything else. Any tips or tricks or anything else I have to know for the install will be appreciated as well. And if anybody happens to know the rod size I have to purchase, that's awesome too. I'm going to check the parts diagrams tonight when I get a chance for the newer models to see if the parts are on any of them. Hopefully it's the same and hasn't changed with the shifter becoming standard on the MT10 I do have the quick shifter unlocked in the ECU. My flash tune guy did that already. I know someone might mention that.
I also don't think I need the 2nd piece with the spring on it. It's my understanding that the FZ10s came plug and play ready for the Quickshifter.

Wish I had dimensions for you. I just helped someone put on my 2019 quickshifter on their 2017 FZ10. It was a direct fit other than the swap of the rodends. Then we had to apply a load to the quickshifter and hold it for 10s while keying on. His bike was NOT flashed.
I also helped someone put in the FTECU autoblip kit on their FZ10. They were flashed with 2WDW. We just plugged it in and pinned the ECU harness and it was ready to go.

Well that's interesting to note. I've got the 2WDW flash but not with the autoblipper. It is free to get the autoblipper update though (minus shipping). Might order it and install it and see if it works without needing the re-flash 🤷♂️

Isn't that first part the rear brake light switch?
It's not needed.

Hahaha, I think you're right.

I had to send my ecu back in to 2WDW for them to activate the blipper function.

Hi RedAndBlack, let me know if you want me to measure/take picture any of stuff from my R1M (2015) and/or MT-10 (2021), which might help you...

I was able to find it on the parts diagrams for the 2019 mt 10. Gunna order it and hope it's correct. But thank you! I mean I guess you could measure it for me but I don't know how long the OEM rod is. When I first posted this, I thought I might have to purchase an aftermarket one.
