Hi all I've been struggling getting the mt10 out of my shed because I have to grab the bottom of the swinging arm at slide the bike a foot or so, and my back can take it anymore, my question is does anyone do the spin/ pivot 180deg on the side stand thing? The stand looks awfully fragile and even flexes when you just lean the bike and use the stad as you should. Cheers

Same here, do it all the time. Pretty easy actually. Cock the handlebars all the way to the right, grab the throttle grip and the subframe or passenger rearsets. With the hand on the throttle grip, pull toward you until the front wheel comes off the ground. When it does, do the same with the subframe or passenger rearsets, getting ready to stabilize the bike. It helps if you pull the bike into your body and also use your body to stabilize the bike.
Start slow, move it 10 or 20 degrees at a time. Eventually you'll get the technique down and will be able to get it pretty easy.
I have put my foot behind the kickstand before but I don't do it anymore.

Just me, but I wouldn't want to spin a 460lb. bike on a relatively spindly aluminum side stand.
