I'm just asking the question. I recently was offered by a dealer to trade my 2018 MT10 with 5k on it for a brand new 2020 Suzuki gsx s1000 straight up.
Would you do it?

No, I was pretty much down to these two bikes. The Zuke may have more top end pull, but that's all is has on this bike. Crappier suspension, doesn't look as cool, no cruise control, and sounds like a 4 cylinder sportbike.

Obviously most will say no. It's an FZ/MT forum after all But a brand new bike with 0 miles with full warranty is tempting. Just a few observation. The Zuke has a longer wheel base for a softer ride over the bumps, has brembo brakes, and a much better stock seat with better 2 up ability. However, It is missing the modern cross plane engine and sound, cc (I never use), QS (again rarely use), drive modes of which I keep mine in 3 all the time anyway and poor mpg. Lol we all know it.
I agree the MT10 is the supervisor bike but the Zuke does offer a nice package with some decent qualities.
Again just asking the question.

Either way you are on two wheels.

I'm sure Ill most likely keep my MT10 till maybe Spring. The Zuke is just a tempting offer. I'm a fairly casual rider and only rip it now and then. Also I only put on about 1500 miles a Summer. It's a toy and not transportation for me.

Right on, now you have some time to ponder the internal debate.
