I have had problems with the throttle beeing jerky/cutting while trying to maintain steady throttle especially at low speeds. The APS was changed under warranty, but problem came back. More severe when engine is hot. Opened her up whilst hot today and found the throttle valves "jumping" when applying only small amount on the throttle... What can be the issue?

This bike has a throttle by wire design which makes them pretty sensitive to throttle input as the response is more instantaneous than a mechanical throttle.
There is a misconception on the throttle power modes that people believe that standard mode retards the engine's power. This is not true. Standard mode is just a less throttle curve, you can still achieve 100 % engine power in standard mode, it will just have more of a "throw" and require more throttle turn to achieve it. I recommend all riders default to using the standard mode as I come from the school of thought that smooth is fast and throttle control is extremely important in avoiding crashes and controlling cornering. So if you are not using the standard mode, I would suggest try it out and see if you are pleased with a more forgiving throttle.
The other option is to take the bike to a dedicated Tuner which can modify the throttle maps for you and make them more forgiving. That's what I did with a buddy that had the same bike. We worked with a guy to spend the time to make the throttle modes manage more like a mechanical throttle with more forgiving lower end response so the bike wasn't as jerky but with a shorter throw where it would reach full throttle with less turn. Worked out great.

I've had my fz10 flashed that helped, but nothing helps more than a G2 throttle tamer. My wife's mt09 has the tamer and no flash. And her throttle is as good as mine. So G2 throttle tamer for the win. There are several threads on here about it. Do a search.

Sounds like another trip to dealer if it’s that jumpy. Which mode is it in?
