So the bike wants to start and sometimes it will but as soon as I let go of the start it dies, I can’t figure it out. The only thing that seems wrong is the fan relay, would that stop it from starting??

So it actually starts then dies or just turns over until you stop trying to start it?

Always start with the battery when it comes to electrical issues. Test the voltage or just buy a new one. If it works, great. If it doesn't, return the battery or just keep it as a spare for when you will need it.

Mine does this. Hit the start button and it acts like it starts but doesn't. I charged the battery and it was good for awhile. Now it's acting up again. So it's probably the battery since my bike only gets ridden every few days or so and for short rides. Probably should just get a battery tender. Try charging your battery and see what happens.

All bikes should be on a Battery Tender if not ridden every day. Good practice.

Apologies everyone! I forgot to give an update. So it’s turns out I made a rookie mistake when installing my tip over sensor, yup, installed it upside down. Lesson learned.
I very much appreciate all the advice given!
