I just bought an MT10 a few weeks ago and almost at my first 600 mile maint/oil change. I love the bike so far but I need some pipes and a tune ASAP because the power is just not enough because I am at 6-8,000 feet above sea level. I was wondering if anyone here had experience with getting their MT10 flashed for higher altitude riding.
1) Do I buy an ECU flash like from MooreMafia or something or would it be better to take it to a local dyno shop here and get a custom tune in the altitude?
2) As far as the warranty goes, is there a way I can flash my back back to stock if I have to take my bike back into the shop for warranty work?
Really just looking for any tips anyone has on getting my MT10 tuned for high altitude.
I plan on putting a high flow air filter and Austin Racing exhaust on it with an ECU Flash/Tune here pretty soon.
Thanks!

They spent more time tuning the mt10 than anybody else. Air filter will do nothing for the bike save your money and run the stock filter

I have a 2WDW tune and my bike seems to run pretty good.
Next time I will use Moore and get one of his tunes. After watching probably 100 of his youtubes its clear the guy is a great tuner and takes pride in his work.

I might be off the mark, but I believe that the ECU is already making an adjustment to the fueling to compensate for the altitude. Fuel injected bikes are constantly measuring the barometric air pressure and the intake air pressure and using that to adjust the injection pulse. This is different to a carbureted engine with fixed jetting which ends up running too rich at altitude and losing power because there is less oxygen. But any naturally aspirated engine will make less power and torque at higher altitude, even with the "jetting" perfect.

I know the ECU does account for small differences in air/fuel ratio but im not sure it accounts for 5-8,000 feet elevation differences (basicly thats the elevations you see when riding around different parts of Colorado). Wondering if there are any Dyno tuners here on the forums that operate out of Colorado. I did a quick search and I see a bunch of Harley dyno's in Colorado but I dont want a Harley guy tuning my bike.

I am interested in this as well. I live in the Littleton, South Denver area and would like to see what more it could do. Im guessing not much but maybe the snatchy-ness, the thing is still crazy fast. I drive out to Ohio yearly and my little 4cycl truck is the fast thing I own when I get close to Kansas.
