A dyno tune is advantageous regardless if you have a piggyback tuner (DynoJet, Bazzaz, etc.) or an ecu flash. I've had bikes on the dyno that have had DynoJet and Bazzaz, and also ecu's flashed with Woolich and FTEcu tuning suites. I use Vcyclenut and he does Yamahas and he's developed and tweeked his maps over years now. I think there are at least a few guys that operate like this. They've worked it all out. I can't see a reason for a dyno tune or a piggyback tuner. My MT has been flashed twice by Two Wheel Dyno Works (once for the stock exhauast/open exup mod, the second time for my current Graves EVR decat setup & autoblipper). Nate and Nels have the tuning for the Yamaha crossplanes nailed. I have removed the Bazzaz from my R6 trackbike and it's next in line for an ecu reflash.
