As the title says, one of my front brake caliper mounting bolts stripped the threads on the way out.
I'm looking for a thread replacement kit. but im not sure what thread pitch I need, having trouble finding the info anywhere.
Any help is appreciated.

Could try bringing the bolt to Home Depot and finding the matching nut for it. Might help narrow it down.

You don't strip threads while removing a bolt. You strip threads by cross threading when inserting or applying too much force for the tensile strength of the bolt. If you had a shop do work on your bike you may want to follow up with them.

If you had a shop do work on your bike you may want to follow up with them. This. I was pretty bad with this. Learned to always start a bolt with hand tightening first. If you get any abnormal resistance, start over to make sure you're not cross threading. Clean with brake cleaner if necessary. This has helped me stop cross threading shit, especially in a place like the calipers where things might not be fully lined up when you first start tightening As for the question, check out the bolt part number on some OEM parts sites. Sometimes they list what thread and pitch. And if not, I like the home Depot suggestion.
Hopefully it's not too bad. I cross threaded an axle once and my mechanic just ran a tap through it and I bought a new axle and it was fine.

Service Manual states: Front brake caliper bolt Thread size is M10. you can measure on bolt if thread has coarse (1.5) or fine (1.25) pitch.

Also, one of these is pretty clutch to have in any garage. Only $9. Can measure bolt sizes and thread pitch among lots of other things. The back of the tool has simulated threads to measure thread pitch. Just take the bolt on line it up on the threads on the tool to see which one best bite if you try to wiggle it up and down. Definitely helped me figure out a few bolts. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XUUGKTC

Pull the fork off and bring it to a shop and have them Time-Sert it. I wouldn't trust a Helicoil with a brake caliper honestly. I'd also try to bring it to a machine shop as well as they'll have the means to make sure the hole is drilled and insert is installed perfectly aligned. You don't want to drill/insert with it at any kind of an angle. time-serts.com/store/m10x1-25-thread-repair-kit/
