I just recently purchase my 17’ fz10. It has 13k miles on it. It has a tick that I just can’t seem to ignore. To me it’s noticeable. I’m not sure if it’s “bad” or not. The camera of course seems to make it less noticeable. Are these engines somewhat “ticky”?

My 2017 sounds the same. It's supposedly a "normal noise" but I don't know. I got the 5 year warranty just in case lol

Yep sounds just like mine and no issues here.
I ride the shit out of mine from track days to 700+ mile tours loaded up with luggage.

It's normal. It's the cam chain. It'll come and go as the cam chain adjuster "reaches" the next tension point and tightens up the chain again. Completely normal on all sportbikes.
