I did some digging on this forum and some people say it’s too quiet . I also have that Leovince pipe so it’ll be nice to know exactly what mine would sound like

From my journey into finding the right setup it was only too quite with the OEM link pipe.....this combo is just right! (think goldilocks and the 3 bears!!!) FYI, i found the Yoshi MT-10 exhaust for around $300 new.

I highly recommend & have abused 2 Wheel Dynoworks with 3+ flashes during my exhaust journey! The Yoshi MT-10 exhaust, Leo Vince link pipe and 2WDW flash are clear winners IMHO!! There is someone on this forum that has done the same....i believe he had a video up of the sound. Worth a quick search.

You don't need a tune if you aren't modifying or removing the cat box, a pure slip on can (like the Yoshimura sold by Yamaha) is simple. Take off the old, put on the new.....ride. It's a 15 minute operation. I hate loud exhausts, but people have convinced themselves that louder means more power. I replaced the stock unit with a Yoshimura Alpha T, it's bigger and better finished than the one Yamaha sells. It's about $550 at places like Revzilla. Nice deep tone, but not obnoxious. Simple installation, no tune needed.

I already have a tune from 2WDW, I think I'm just gonna wait until winter and get a full apra or yoshi system all titanium just for the blueing, or at least a can just so I can have it sent to tune while I can't ride.

How does the sound level compare to stock with Cat and Yoshi can? I just about have my bike where I want it with extras for now but I'm still missing a little bit more sound . I have pulled the can off and almost like the sound of it without the can straight from the cat but still a bit to loud I'm getting ready to shorten the stock can or plug some holes one by one to tune in the baffle until I get noise level somewhere between can and no can with cat sound level to my liking..

I bought an -10 with the Y series slip on it. I picked up a new LV link pipe from an individual yesterday ($100), however, the flange on the end that connects to the can is a female connection. The slip-on is also a female connection. Either I bought the wrong pipe or I'm an idiot and don't understand how it connects. The hardware that came with it does not include and adapters. Can you check out the pics and see what I'm missing? Thanks much and thank you for the read. -Mike

Leo Vince makes 2 link pipes for the MT-10. Can you forward a link to which of the two you bought that worked with the Y-Series? Or, check your invoice to see what part number you ordered. I picked up an unused, LV link pipe from a private seller, but best as I can tell, it doesn't line up with the Y-Series. More specifically, the Y-Series needs a link pipe connection that's is a "male" to slip inside the can. My link pipe has a female connection. This would be a huge help.

Thank you very much. Last thing... Did you run your bike for any period of time before getting the ECU flashed? The soonest I can get the ECU flashed is next week. Thanks much.
