Has anyone installed and tested the Translogic auto blip? Thinking of purchasing and installing before the season starts. Just looking for some opinions on how well the product works.

I was thinking about getting one but for that kinda cash I'd rather get the R1 m/c upgrade kit with the stainless lines. The QS for upshifting is awesome and I'm pretty good at blipping myself lol

Agreed I miss the analog bikes we had back in the 90's. If I didn't respect my Blackbird she would've chewed me up and spit me off and don't get me started on the guys I knew who tried to ride a TL1000R without the experience to handle one. Bikes today make it too easy. Some of that thrill and sense of danger is gone. Revmatching and downshifting is a leaned skill and I can upshift just as fast and smoother without using my factory quick shifter than I can using it. I get the benefits of the safety equipment. I just don't care for all of it. When I get a second bike it's going to be something like a CBR954RR or something like that from that era. Sorry for the highjack lol

Just installed the Translogic autoblip and it works very well. Not a single issue out of the box and the install was very straight forward. I was installing block off plates so it made it less painful to remove everything. I'm good at blipping myself but there's no way I could blip as fast as this thing. You can drop 3 gears in aboiut 1.5 seconds and it's perfect. I don't think I could blip that fast and that precisely. It doesn't over rev the bike, it really is just a quick blip so the downshift is smooth.

No shit. The ones I was looking at come with a code that needs the ECU flashed for it. Maybe it's the FTech unit

It's supposed to be plug and play but I found it still needed tweaking....which is kind of a pain on that unit...

Which band did you have to tweak? Mine seems OK so far.
I have a trackday on 3/24 where I'll be able to see how it does on track but I suspect if any tweaking is needed it will be for low RPM.
