Thinking of getting this perhaps. Want my bike to be louder but don't want it too loud that the popo 2 miles away can hear me coming. I was debating getting an Austin Racing de-cat exhaust but this GP style exhaust might be loud enough. Not sure about how 2WDW tune will work with the cat still on it. I think the exhaust looks pretty good overall and is a good option for people wanting to go a slip-on route instead of a de-cat system. Thoughts everyone?   |

I like the looks. I'm really interested in eliminating the cat though and I think that would be way too loud w/o it. I really want to get a de-cat system too but just worried about getting pulled over and ticketed for excessive noise. I emailed Austin Racing and they said their exhaust was about 105 dB with the dB killer insert and around 110 dB without it. That is probably still not as loud as the straight pipe Harleys but it is still pretty loud. Hard to find a good balance between loud enough for me while riding vs. obnoxious for people around me. |

I pulled the trigger on the above exhaust and will give an update once installed.

Interested in how much difference is acheived with this can while maintaing the cat. I’ve got the slip on and an akra link pipe. It’s oretty loud but sounds sweet. Here’s a video someone posted on YouTube of that slip on with a stainless link pipe. |

I’m looking to put a full titanium system on mine they don’t make it for the FZ but they do make it for the R1 can you fit the R1 system on it? Or are the headers different?
