If you don't install the OEM O2 sensors (if you're getting your ECU flashed then you have to at least unplug them) into the decat pipe then yes you need to plug the holes. My Hindle decat pipe came with three O2 sensor fittings - two small ones for stock and a larger one for the wide band sensors that come with auto-tune kits. It also came with threaded plugs for all three holes if you don't use any of them. I installed the factory O2 sensors as my ECU wasn't flashed yet (bike was brand new - only put 40 miles on with the stock exhaust) but I made sure to save the plugs in my toolbox in case I needed them which now I do. I'll get those removed (ordered blanking connectors yesterday for the wiring harness side of the O2 sensors) and I've got some other things to install too - Graves PAIR block-off plates and a few other little things. Did you end up getting your ecu flashed ? It's with USPS right now on its way to 2WDW

I left it disconnected from the bike but I do have a tender on it. You don't really need a tender unless it's going to sit for a prolonged period of time (like my current situation with winter storage). I have one tender in the garage and I'll cycle it between my bike, the wife's Spyder RT and my daughter's Raptor 50 every other weekend for the season.

There's a noticeable weight savings on a decat as well. It's between 15-20lbs which much easier than going on a diet lol.

I'm still considering getting the quiet insert that Hindle makes for mine as it's quite loud at certain RPM ranges. I did buy some ear plugs too but weather went bad before I got to try them
