I just bought 2017 FZ10 with 2400 miles with Delkevic 8" de-cat already on and installed block off plate and 2WDW tune and it struggles to do power wheelies at all even in second when I'm yanking the throttle, sitting at the back of my seat and bouncing the front it takes A-LOT of effort compared to people much heavier just rolling on the throttle slow and lifting the front. And I'm only 160lbs compared to most people doing power wheelies at 200lb or around there so its not a weight thing either and I had traction control either in 1 or off and it was in B mode. The attached video shows it and someone already said its not normal so I don't know what it could be. This was like this before and after the 2WDW tune and I asked them about it today after getting the ecu installed and he said I'm probably not turning the throttle enough but the video says otherwise compared to everyone else's bikes and I went out again today and tried again to make sure I'm "turning the throttle fast enough" and it does take a-lot more than whats considered the norm for these bikes. I just ordered a Yoshi Alpha-T 3/4 since that's the exhaust I wanted anyways and I guess I will get my ECU re-flashed for the Yoshi but is the Delkevic that bad that it would cause this issue or is there something else I should be looking for or worried about. I saw another person say the step in the Delkevic is very lower quality and the tune for 2wdw shows a huge dip between 6 and 7k but i dont even know anymore. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Only way to know what is going on for sure is to put the bike on a dyno.
That looks like 2nd or 3rd gear in the video. Does it wheelie ok in 1st?

In first it still requires a good tug and to be much higher in the rev range, after I install the yoshi if I still have the issue ill just take it to a dyno

U shouldn’t have to tug back on bars in 1st 2nd or 3rd! I gotta ease into mine when accelerating hard in 1st & 2nd so the front end doesn’t come up! Very hard for me to drag race mine @ the 1/4 mile track cause I’m constantly having to let back off the throttle to let front end back down. Until I’m in 3rd I can really lay into it!

too many revs for a starting point and when it started coming up you let it go.....hold it on from lower Also if that bike hasn't been flashed it will be down on power for sure
That vids almost looks like a wind up ....seriously who rides like that

Start at 4k rpm in 1st or 2nd gear with traction mode in 1, 2, or off. Quickly pull the throttle ALL THE WAY BACK and hold until you hit the rev limiter....
My bike would loop if I did this. I have to feather the throttle once the frontend starts coming up.

That vids almost looks like a wind up ....seriously who rides like that see the issue is there is no torque if i go lower. None. the wheel will never start to come up at any rpm below 7k so I had to go higher just to get it to come up, I was only winding up to see where the torque comes on but anything below 7k feels like my old r6 with the torque which aligns with the dyno chart of the 2WDW delkevic tune anyways since there is a massive dip and im sure my bikes actual power output is even less than that dyno since it wasnt fine tuned for MY bike. If i do start at 4k and yank it all the way it'll just pull, wont lift the front up at all compared to everyone else saying if they don't ease into it they'll lift. And ill admit also im not an expert at wheelies, this is the first bike I bought that is supposed to have a ton of low down torque and wheelie with no effort yet it is for mine, which is why I raised concern (since even a stock bike can power wheelie no effort in 1-3 gear and has wayyyy more low torque). There is nothing down low which I checked right before I resent my ecu to 2wdw. The only time i can feel the torque really kick in is above 7k but at that point it wont lift. It was like this before I get ecu flash and after with delkevic. Honestly the power didnt even feel like it changed at all when i got the 2wdw reflash I just got the yoshi pipe and 2wdw is reflashing it again for the yoshi as well since someone else on this forum had the same issue with the delkevic soo we'll see.

What power mode are you in and what traction control setting do you have it on. I have a 2017 FZ-10 as well power mode B is the most responsive throttle and TC1 is the least aggressive traction control setting.

Might need a dyno run just to see where its at.....ask 2wd for the license so you can get someone to look at it...only thing is youll have to drop some money on a cable

I took off delkevic today and realized previous owner didn't use stock muffler gasket (Part number 5YU-14714-10) and the Yoshi utilizes the stock gasket insert but the delkevic didn't have it in there so maybe there was an exhaust leak? Too late to see anyways. Either way yoshi is much better quality and has a o2 hole in the y pipe so if I wanted to install active tune down the line I can.
