Just ordered these. I’ll post pics next week after I install them! Let us know your opinion. What mounting kit did you get?

Just a quick question, with the mirrors folded in are you still able to use them functionally, r.do they have to be folded out to see anything at all ? Thx

Just ordered these. I’ll post pics next week after I install them! I know this is an old thread, but let's see if we can reboot this. Because the colder weather is now setting in (WA), I decided to finally purchase a pair of Sentinel hand guards, LED light kit and two different mounting kits (links below). I like the minimalist look of the Sentinel mount kit, but ordered the tri-mount kit as well just in case... Sentinel Hand Guards (black of course) LED Light KitSentinel ATV & Motorcycle mount kitTri-Mount mount kitFirst, I attempted to install the Sentinel ATV & Motorcycle mount kit. I had to shift the brake lever assembly 1/2" to the left to make room for the mounting bracket. Not amazing, but it worked. I then moved onto the clutch side and could not make it work. Moving the clutch lever assembly 1/2" to the right causes the clutch lever to hit the switch assembly when pulling it in. I don't need to pull the lever in much to disengage the clutch, but would rather not scratch up the switch housing when I do pull in the lever all the way. Next, I decided to try the (ugly) Tri-Mount kit which allows you to mount the bracket on the bend of the handlebars for more flexibility during installation. The problem is that our handlebars taper through the bend of the bars, so the bracket won't fit. driftns2k , did you ever get your hand guards installed? What mounting kit did you use? Could you post some pics of your install? From the picture that the OP posted (from the back of the bike), it looks like he used the ATV and Motorcycle mount kit, but it's hard to tell for sure... Has anyone else attempted this? Here are the links to what I had purchased:

I looked in to this last year. Looking at the pictures, the best mounting option looked like the kit 34452. I have bar end mirrors, so the is not an option to attach. The clutch side looks fine, not sure if the brake side could work around the reservoir/mirror mount point. I also run shorty levers so moving the brake over a little was not ideal. No one else was chiming in last year so I gave up and bought some heated gloves.
