YOSHIMURA Alpha Race Series 3 Quarter Exhaust Pipe Carbon Fiber Yamaha YZF-R1
I know it’s not made for the bike I saw someone did it with it. So just wondering if anyone else has any tips on making it work and if it will work with stock rearsets

I cleaned up the link.
R1 Exhausts do not work with the FZ/MT without other modifications. I don't think you can use FZ/MT rearsets with R1 Exhausts.

Slip on's usually go straight on. May need to mod the exhaust bracket if it's not a stubby.
Take AR and Leo Vince for instance. Their cans go straight on.
Something that needs supporting with the rear hanger or fixed mount like the SP can may not.
R1 rear sets are a popular mod for this fitting R1 exhausts as they help with striagjt forward fitting but they also look goo as they're black. In turn though that needs you to fit R1 rear master cylinder and, I think, messes with the brake switch and cruise control. I don't think you can use the OEM brake switch.
I've actually fitted the entire R1 exhaust system to my MT. It sounds really nice and look better oddly enough.

I watched your video before posting I just hate the look of the yoshimura alpha for the mt10. It’s hard to chose a 3/4 exhaust cause if it looks good your eardrums will hate you lol

Yep 😂. I had a decat twice now and each time it's been on for only a few days. I really like the sound of my current set up but think the AR can will be the cherry on the cake.
