Well I only paid $9,999 for mine brand new lol.
Al kidding aside changing to a lighter set of wheels a one of the best performance mods you can do. I race autocross and wheels and tires are always my first thing I do to a new car I’m going to race.
I just wish getting a lighter set of wheels for a bike was as easy and inexpensive as it is on a car. On my old Lancer Ralliart I had a set of Sparco wheels that weighed 21lbs a piece and were a little over $400 for the set from tire rack.
I don’t necessarily want carbon fiber wheels but if there was a way to shave like 5lbs from then front wheel and 5-10lbs from the rear for similar money it wouldn’t even be a question.
I know that’s a fantasy world though.

I had a set of BST carbon wheels on my old TLR and they were AMAZING. $4k for the pair though but worth it. Wish I could afford a set for my MT though lol

That's what they paid for the bike, not the wheels
