Hello! I would like to paint some parts on my blue 2017 model. Basically painting all silver parts black. The rear silver part is easy, front upper easy.... The tricky one seems to be the lower front fairing. Does someone have pictures or can help me how to remove that one?

Have you checked out the service manual? Should include a fairly useful explanation if you can find it. I've never messed with it so unfortunately I don't know.

I had to remove the whole headlight to access the one single screw that dislodge that small fairing thingy.

Can you tell me how you removed the headlight assembly. I've got all the plastic off except the headlight cowling.

Can you tell me how you removed the headlight assembly. I've got all the plastic off except the headlight cowling. It's a freaking nightmare honestly. I took mine apart to get the little chin spoiler wrapped. Here's the exploded view: www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/2019/mt10-mt10kb/cowling-1You need to remove the four Phillips screws (#4) that hold the headlight to the bracket. Then once that's off you need to remove the two Phillips screws That go through from the backside of the headlight assembly and hold the cowling on. Then once that's off you need to remove the two screws (#20) to remove the chin spoiler from the headlight assembly.
