My questions concerns the EXUP valve. I love the shorter carbon can and the overall look of this up-swept system and the theory behind it but wonder if it is really as effective as they claim.
#1 - Has anybody had a dyno comparison performed that shows a difference between this and a full system with EXUP removed. Does it show a torque advantage with the valve restricting exhaust flow at lower RPM's? Wide open I would assume there would be no difference? #2 - Is the sound difference really noticeable cruising around town and if so is it still a good deep rumble or does it sound like a stock bike? #3 - Is it worth the money or just an expensive gimmick?

I do not have this exhaust, I have a different 3/4 exhaust and I think I can answer #1 and #3
#1. Typically, you will see a reduction of power at lower end torque with the removal of the stock cannister and exup valve. This is due to the ECU stock mapping. An ECU flash will correct this. So it's a yes/no scenario.
#3. I felt a 3/4 exhaust was worth it. I dunno how worth it to spend the extra money on a graves, but I definitely picked up power and responsiveness (much more noticeable after the ECU flash) and the exhaust sounded much much better than the stock can. I imagine any 3/4 system is going to sound a ton better than the stock can with the removal of the prechamber exhaust.

I have the EVR exhaust and Graves tune, Ifeel it was well worth it as do a couple of other guys who owned FZ10s and rode mine, it has more torque and smoothness down low and completely fixed the throttle snatch. You notice it most when accelerating out of corners, power is much more linear below 7k rpm.

Yes, I removed the AIS and installed the block off plates and added a High flow air filter.

I have the evr too. BUY IT. Sounds great without being too loud, beautiful build quality. Have the 2WDW tune and couldn't be happier. Block off plates with stock air filter also.
