Can anyone explain to me what’s the difference between launch control and traction control?
I’ve heard riders adding launch control on their MT-10. What I currently understand is they are both the same but launch control really keeps the front wheel at the ground more.
Thanks in advance! 😁

They are not the same. Launch control may work as sort of a traction control cause it will limit the power to the wheels but it does not accomplish what traction control does. Traction control monitors the rotation of both wheels to make sure that loss of traction does not occur. So if you're coming out of a turn and you jerk the throttle, causing the reAr wheel to spin and possibly lose traction, TC will kick in and cut some power to the wheel to slow down the wheel and bring it back to full traction.
Launch control is programmed to determine that a certain power input at a certain RPM will cause the front end to come off of the ground. LC will limit power to the bike to ensure the bike will not 12 o clock.
I may be wrong, this is merely my interpretation on how each system works.
