Hi all - I just picked up a new to me 2019 MT10. Right now the bike is stock other than previous owner has already installed AIS block off plates. The owner included a Two Bothers Slip On Cat Eliminator and a Power Commander V, both have never been installed.
I'm thinking about installing the exhaust system and waiting until we're going to have rain to have the ECU flashed and not even bother with the PCV. I don't even see a map for a US bike on the DynoJet website for Two Brothers system.
What do you guys think - will the bike run OK without a tune for at least a little while or should I just pick one of the Euro maps for PCV and install it?

Ditch the power commander.
Eliminating the cat is going to be loud AF and a two bros might make it sound even worse.
Sell the two bros, keep the cat, put a tip on in place of the stock muffler, and get a 2wdw tune.
The sound with just a tip is perfect, to try it out just take your muffler off. Loud without being obnoxious.

Loud without being obnoxious. That is probably a matter of personal taste. I did that on my previous bike (KTM SDGT) and it gave me more volume and a cleaner look, without spending a lot of money. I really did like the sound of it though. The cat removal does also eliminate a chunk of weight, and IMO looks better/cleaner, so there is that benefit. My MT10 came with a mid-pipe, flash, and previous owner stated he took the baffle out of the stock muffler. I really like the sound. It is loud, and sounds wicked, but I like it. I wear pinlock filtered earplugs most of the time (for wind noise) but even when I don’t have them in I don’t find it too loud or annoying for my tastes (as far as other drivers though 🤷🏻♂️). I downloaded one of those dB apps (not sure how accurate they are), but it said it idles at around 84 dB and around 126 when revved up.
