Does anyone know if the 2020 R1 OEM up and down quickshifter will work on current MT 10 models?

No. The MT10 hasn't got the requisite programming in the ECU to register the sensor or the activation in order to blip.

I wonder if the shaft and sensor assembly is just a simple momentary contact like the aftermarket? If so, I'd be interested in possibly swapping the assembly since the OEM parts are stout and the ECU is already flashed for use with FTECU. Would probably have to make a couple changes to the harness since the push/ pull uses a common wire.

Ftecu will only work with their own hardware (i.e. their QS/autoblipper). It will not work with the oem hardware.

Older R1s also had up and down quick-shifting, no? And the 'blip' is more like a rev-match, so you can't even hear it. Can't do a proper throttle blip (especially an aggressive one) unless you have a way to disengage the clutch, and you don't on manual motorcycles, as far as I know. Double-clutch trannies can do that. And yourself manually too .

Ftecu will only work with their own hardware (i.e. their QS/autoblipper). It will not work with the oem hardware. I’ve had several issues with my ftecu qs/blipper (still ongoing). When I plug the factory qs in upshift works without issue without changing anything in the flash.

My most regrettable purchase to date. fz10.org/thread/3543/buy-ftecu-autoblipper-canada?page=1&scrollTo=27451
