I bought my 2017 FZ-10 this past January 2020. It was a new leftover and only had 100 miles on it. I ended up having to have the dealer replace the rear rotor and pads because the rear caliper was partially seized. I hand them flush the front and rear brake fluid so the brakes are all good now.
So for the coolant. Do I need to worry about the coolant needing to be replaced because of the age of the coolant or should it be good for a couple of years still? I know in cars you’re supposed to flush it every 3 to 5 years. The bike currently has about 1,500 miles on it. Thanks for the help.

Yeah I saw that but it sat in a showroom for those three years and wasn’t run. The dealership owner ride it for those 100 miles last year but that’s it.

I mean if you're okay with doing some mechanical stuff I'd do it. Coolant is not that expensive and I personally just replace most fluids whenever I purchase a second hand bike regardless of condition. Just so I have the peace of mind of the current condition.

For the $40 or so it will cost for 3L. It's probably worth doing.
You'd need the recommended hose clip pliers ($10 off amazon) and be happy to take the radiator off which is just nuts and bolts.
The service manual is one of the better ones I've used and the step by step is very good.

I support that as well. When you buy a used bike, first thing you should do is replace all of the fluids on the bike unless you are confident the previous buyer has recently done service.

It wasn’t a used bike though. It was a brand new leftover. I’m the first person to own the bike.

it honestly doesnt sound like the motor was even heat cycled enough for that coolant to be considered "bad." and its not like after three years it just goes bad. i wouldnt worry about it and just ride it. if youre bored then just drain it out and refill with fresh.
your bike is brand new. enjoy it.
