I've replaced the gasket on timing belt/oil pump cover without issue. Now getting slight leakage where parts #1 and #14 meet. These are two metal mating surfaces. I replaced the o rings as indicated. What else could I do?

I'm guessing that the O-ring between #1 and #14 sits in a groove on #1. Could it have slipped out of the groove when you installed it? There is nothing else sealing that except the O-ring so that has to be the culprit.
Maybe check again for leaks around the timing chain cover that could be dripping down, making it look like it's coming from somewhere else?
Good luck!

Was new o ring. Lubed it. Cover gasket is tight.
