Any of you guys knows what those plastic tubes are for ? Will I have an issue with my new flashers if I do not have those still ? Thanks for your help.

There has been a lot of speculation as to what those are. I can tell you this I removed them when I installed new turn signals on mine and they work flawlessly.

They must be resistors, to prevent hyper-flashing. They're typically needed with LEDs, although nowadays they're incorporated into the relay.

I ran into the same dilemma. I kept them on when I replaced my blinkers and it actually messed up the blinking speed. So long story short it is a resistor that is most likely not needed.

Take them off if you'd like & get yourself a flasher relay designed for LED's. Did that on my previous FJ-09 when I went to LED sigs, As I recall TST Industries was my source.

Fz10 already has led turn signals, no need to change flasher. I replaced my or turn signals with aftermarket led signals and they work just like factory
