Hi Guys, I removed the AIS and about to install PSR block-off plates now. Plates didn't come with instructions but I'm noticing the opening on the plates are in the opposite direction compared to the opening on the base where they should go (see images below). the plates fit fine but does the direction matter? Second question, if i leave the pump harness unplugged like show in the photo I know I'll see a fault code but will that code go away if i decide to flash the ECU later or do I have to do the flash before starting the bike? Thanks!

The machined area on the plate is to make room for the small tang on the reed plate.(tang is on the plate just above the black plug) The code should be cleared when the ECU is flashed.
