Was wondering if an 2017 FZ10 ECU is compatible with a 2016 MT10 ECU? Anyone know? Thanks.

Probably not due to European emissions. Any 2016 MT-10 should be a European model.
But I really have no idea so don't take it as gospel. I just think that 2017 was the first year for the American FZ/MT 10 and any 2016 model would be from a European bike.

In Europe difference between 2016 and 2017 is quickshifter. So you may have an error because ECU will be looking for it.

If I don’t have a QS it shouldn’t be looking for it.
