Hey guys anyone know what size bolts are utilized for the Sato Racing Hooks? Trying to find a black version as opposed to the chrome ones they provide.
Thank you.

I ordered some MT-10 branded ‘covers’ for the passenger peg holes after I removed them and while the bolts stayed—the actual fancy cover fell off on both sides in one ride. Took a month to come from China....figured it’d take me less than that to destroy it.

You need a regular hex socket cap screw, same diameter and length should work, but black oxide ones will rust eventually: I'll get back to you vstate. I opted for the cheap solution, went to AutoZone:

I went from Evotech blanking plates, to the black Sato racing hooks, since I needed to tie down the bike to my truck at that location. And they worked perfectly. The Evotech plates look flimsy for strapping the bike, since they're thinner in the middle. Strictly an aesthetic item IMO, but they use the stock bolts. And they're relatively cheap at around $50 shipped.

Those Sato hooks are a joke...why would a company drill holes at the most critical weight bearing part of the triangle? I'm an amateur and I could come up with something that would hold 3 times the weight of the entire bike and still look decent.
