Ordered these: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079MFPDG5?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_imageVesrah RJL-XX part # 248RJL-XX So do they fit? Photo on the actual page selling them shows my bike 2019 Yamaha MT-10 but Amazon knows my ‘garage’ and says it doesn’t fit. Couldn’t find much useful on Vesrah’s site so here I am! Thanks in advance!

Our pads are the same as on the R1, R6, and some other models. If it fits a 15+ R1, it’ll fit our bike.
I’m running the Vesrah VD-248RJL.

Thanks for the help—when I put that number into Amazon this is what comes up (saying it doesn’t fit): I don’t see part #’s on the spreadsheet from Vesrah. Can you link an amazon seller with the right pads because my google-fu is off today? Lol

VD-248JL are the only pads made for our bike per Vesrah catalog and they’re just metal sintered pads...is this what you’re running? I was hoping for better bite...

I am running the VD-248RJL. Even though they don’t list it, the pad sizing is the same across multiple bikes.

That Amazon system isn't that great. There are tons of parts I've bought for the variety of my vehicles off of Amazon that have said the same thing. I basically just utilize that warning to double check that the parts fit with other sources.

I had the EBC HH pads on my FZ09 and liked the stronger initial bite compared to the RJL’s on the MT10.

I ordered the XX which are ‘race only’ pads that I used to run on my 750 race bike and they had a metric ton of bite. Will update on fitment and feel!

Yeah exactly what I want...I switched to the XX’s after running EBC GPFA’s and despite what I have read I liked the XX’s.
Let’s get into the nuance....I started getting way better on the brakes (racing) once another racer told me to stop going 5%-95% on the lever, followed by ‘hunting’ with the lever between 70-95% with varying those degrees of pressure. Now I do the 5% load and then 80/90% and hold it and obviously slowly trail off as I enter a corner. So the bite with feel and consistency is most important to me/my style.
Does that make any sense with how I’m explaining it? Lol
Our front brake on the MT-10 is pretty shitty and fades pretty quickly—I don’t hate the brakes and they’re manageable on the street, but I am hunting for a more aggressive and consistent feel. I’ll definitely try a cheaper pad if these don’t at least give me a marginal improvement. And maybe one day down the line I’ll do a Brembo MC, etc but not trying to drop that much coin in a street bike that I’ll track once or twice a year.

Awesome. Glad it fit, haha. Give us a review! Thankfully I didn’t listen to your recommendation and got my XX pads....but they’re probably trash even for spirited riding on the street. Oh lord.
