Hi all can anyone please answer some question for me regarding FTecu
1. What maps are available to me once I have purchased the cables and licence
2. Do I have to purchase maps at extra cost
3. If I have a choice of maps do they list what the mods the bike has what changes in the map have been made
4. Are fuel maps locked on all maps or just the graves ones

So I've purchased the flashing harness and a map for my Austin Racing exhaust all through 2 Wheel Dynoworks. It was $350 for the harness and $200 for the map but I'd check back with the guys over there to confirm pricing again. The fuel maps themselves are locked but you can still modify things like fan temps, engine braking, etc. I had the assumption that if I ever change anything and need a new map that they'd cover it for free but I'd also clarify that with them.
I think there are some free maps floating out there but they wont be nearly as good as the ones from 2WDW. I think they're having deals right now for the holidays and they frequently have ones for the holidays but I'd check with them first to make sure they have a specific map for your modifications. You could also just ship your ECU to them to flash it. A lot of people do this but I personally just didn't feel comfortable doing it.

Hey cheers for that Can you please have a look through your FTEcu account and see if any other maps are available I read somewhere we can get a de-restricted map yet no one can confirm this for me or even what changes have been made compared to stock I sent an email to FTEcu but have not heard a pep from them...kinda disappointing really...quick to sell you shit but slow hit and miss every where else When I buy stuff I want to know what Im getting

I'm not on my desktop that has the suite on it to see but I'm 99% sure there are Derestricted maps for the FZ/MT-10 along with the stock US and EU maps on the bike. Id have to double check and make sure they're up to date with the model years in case something has changed. The derestricted map does add power but as many have said the throttle can still be jumpy/unresponsive down in the rev-range. I flashed mine with the derestricted map to test it after it had been already flashed with 2WDW map and I rode 15 mins and had to turn around and flash it back because I couldn't stand the throttle response. Ill try to get a screenshot of the software suite in a day. If you don't here anything in 2 days just remind me!
