32100 miles of delight on my 2017 purchased new in Oct 2016. Absolutely love this bike. Only problem I have with it is that it keeps stalling when pulling the clutch when coming to a stop in traffic. I'm hoping that the valve adjustment scheduled for Nov. will help with that, other than that I'm out of ideas.

[/quote] khanartist, no, nothing has been done with the ECU. I'm very ignorant when it comes to the ECU - I'll have to check with my dealer if they can do that. It would be great to get it fixed! This is the first valve adjustment. A little late, yes..

im almost positive your dealership cant do it as its a warranty issue. i had 2 wheel dynoworks do my ecu flash, sent it in to them via ups and got it back about 5 days later. you can do overnights if you want i just didnt feel like paying for the shipping on my end. I asked my dealership about the bike dying upon stopping when i had that issue and they thought it was my clutch and or clutch plates, still havent had that done yet, i will eventually but the issue is gone thanks to the ecu flash, which leads me to believe it was not the transmission in anyway or the valves. it was the decel cut killing the bike.

FYI if anyone's interested, valve adjustment revealed no clearance on exhaust side at all... After fixing, bike runs like new. Definitely recommend doing the valve adjustment on time or earlier if you start having unexplained stalling. And this is not FZ-10 specific, same issue is prevalent on other Yamaha forums, and my 2011 FZ6R had started having the same issue at ~26k before I traded it in for this bike.

I've got right at 5,000 miles on my 2017 FZ10 I bought new in January of 2020. I'm going to get the valves checked at 10k just for piece of mind.
