Right at 500 miles on my 2019. Just got it last month. What an awesome bike You should probably lose some weight—you’d be in better shape to ride more often. Just a thought!

Been on Nutrisystem for 2 weeks and I’m down 15lbs. it’s not my weight that’s the problem. It’s the 35* days focus on your issues bud not mine. I got my life sorted out.

You could’ve been jovial in your response to me trolling you by quoting exactly what you said to another member as a joke, but you decided to continue to project. I absolutely love it. Thanks for participating!

18.5k 2016. Not really missed a beat. Seat was holding water and early model didn't have a plastic cover between the foam and the outer layer so it would hold water like a sponge. Seat lock sized too but was sorted on warranty. Didn't realise how much crap actually gets under the lock cover. Service it all myself as I know I'll just do a better job. Not much is standard anymore with Hel calipers, Brembo discs, Hel lines, Brembo RCS19 Corsa Corta master cylinder, some modded paint work on the side panels, K&N air filter, airbox mod, SP engineering can, EXUP removed (makes room for a small disc lock or tyre repair kit) and a Woolich ECU flash. Oh and my custom frame bungs and pillion blanks 😉

I’d love to ride your bike for a half hour and decide on taking the plunge on the front brake upgrades....what are your thoughts after spending the coin on them? Have you tracked it, or just a street warrior? Nice ride!!

Cheers dude.
I did my brakes stage by stage so feel I can comment on what's best and made the most difference.
My advice across many forums is upgrade the MC (Hel or Brembo RCS19) and pads.
Discs made no difference but were black replacing the original worn red centred ones.
Lines made no noticeable difference but look great and have a life time warranty. Given the original lines are a serviceable part to be replaced at 4 years I'd go to braided for that reason alone.
MC and pads make a massive difference and for a total of £300 is a very good value upgrade. I make a plug and play module for aftermarket MCs that retains the brake and cruise control without having to cut into any wires etc. Which makes this an attractive upgrade option. You can do it yourself with some chunky automotive relays if you'd rather.
Calipers look the tits and while a noticeable improvement, for me just street eiding, probably aren't worth the money. But if you've got it then you will see an improvement.

0. I won't pick it up until Saturday. You’ll probably pee a little. For good and nervous reasons. Best bike ever, you did good. I'm trading a year old FJ 09 with K-Tech on both ends and a flash. A great bike but in September I was trying to catch a hot rod Mustang and I couldn't and started thinkin I needed more. Now I'll have it.

I have about 18,500 on my ‘17 that I bought October last year. Zero problems with anything on the bike.

I'm at 19,000, came close to selling it but after going to the long beach moto show I've decided to keep it and upgrade the suspension, and I ordered a french seat. And, I'll be ordering a speed twin R when and if they ever offer it so I can have a bike more suited to around town and riding with my wife when she's on her fz07.

Recently purchased a used fz10 2017 with 3,000 miles on it. Shopping for new tires, looking at michelin road 5, road 5 gt, or power 5 .

Don't overlook the award winning Metzler Roadtec 01 or the new SE version. Massive mileage. Loads of grip in the dry. Awesome in the wet.

24,000 miles and smiles on mine! 4 or 5 sets of tires (ALL Bridgestone sport touring) and still on the original chain and sprockets!! Will probably put new set on this winter.....
Loving the bike, especially the handling and the AWESOME sound with the Akrapovic exhaust

Recently purchased a used fz10 2017 with 3,000 miles on it. Shopping for new tires, looking at michelin road 5, road 5 gt, or power 5 . The Road 5 GT is for much heavier bikes than ours I wouldn’t recommend those. Now the regular Road 5’s are incredible! I have about 2k miles on mine and I can’t even tell on the rear. By this time on the stock tires I was already looking for replacements. I don’t feel any loss in the grip department on the street and I’m not a tame rider. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Michelin Road 5 tires.
