Has anyone here installed a Delkevic on a FZ-10? Wondering about the sound volume, mostly.
I had the 14" with de-cat headers on my Super Tenere, and loved it. The Delkevic wasn't too loud, and the quality was better than the price suggests.

Hey Jagermiester, I understand I'm replying about 4 months after but figured I'd chime in for future members looking through. The Delkevic comes with a removable baffle. Without the baffle, the exhaust is LOUD. It's also of the deep rumble variety.

RedAndBlack review: So Delkevic is a US company, their website is located at: www.delkevic.usI originally was looking at the graves system, but the Delkevic was much cheaper, running between $200-300 depending on if you want a simple stainless steel exhaust, or a Carbon Fiber finish. The different options were already posted above so I won't spend any time on that. I went Carbon Fiber finish and was happy with the extra money spent to match better with the Raven Black finish. I shopped around, did not really find the Delkevics being sold anywhere than their website, and definitely nothing cheaper than their website. The exhaust install was very straight forward and very easy. You start with the decision on if you want to remove the sound baffle or not. I like to be heard so I removed the baffle with the assistance of a rubber mallet (directions are included on how to remove the baffle). As mentioned above, the Delkevic is LOUD with the baffle removed. I definitely piss my neighbors off at 8 AM on a Saturday to ride. But the rumble of the exhaust when it bounces off the canyon walls is very satisfying. The tune of the exhaust is also a deep rumble. As someone who drives and has a passion for muscle cars, the tune was perfect for me. Back to the install, very easy with no tricks. I had to trim the rubber piece that goes onto the exhaust hanger that wraps around the can, but other than that, there was no problem at all with fitament or instructions. Definitely the easiest exhaust install of the 5 bikes I've owned to this point. Do not throw anything out in the packaging until after install. There were some components loose in the box and a lone bolt for capping the sound baffle screw hole was oddly located in an indentation in the styrofoam that holds the exhaust can. Had inthrown the box out immediately, I would've been dumpster diving. Im not sure if this was specific to the Delkevic exhaust, or just the FZ10 in general, but you seriously will have to consider getting your ECU flashed with a better fuel map, or at least get block off plates to shut off the AIS system. The backfire on this bike upon deceleration is pretty loud, and every now and then on a really adrupt chop of the throttle, you will get this tremendous pop that I can only describe to you as simply, a gunshot. As a rider behind me later told me, he felt the shockwave pass through his entire body. Please note. I have a California model. Although manufacturers ship California models everywhere and you can very well get a California model in the other 49 states, you might not have this problem with a non-California model. I have since flashed my ECU and disabled the AIS system and I get absolutely 0 backfire now. After a month of riding, I'm very happy with the exhaust, especially with the relative little amount of money I spent compared to some others. If I were going for dyno-tuning, drag racing, max performance, I probably wouldn't have chose Delkevic, as you can see from the Dyno Sheets on the forum, Delkevic is at the bottom of the aftermarket exhaust range. But as an everyday street rider where you're not going to push the outer limits of this bike, the Delkelvic is a fine choice if you like throaty exhausts.

I had the Delkevic silencers (2 shorties) on my 14 Ninja 1000 and they were awesome. Way higher quality than the price dictates. For two of them it was only $350 and the fit way perfect. I had some questions about them during install and they had a tech on the phone ASAP, great customer service. I'm going to go online now and order one for my new FZ-10. I was originally looking for just a mid pipe and keep the stock silencer but after reading these threads that may be a bit too loud.

I recently got my FZ-10. Still has under 400 miles on it and I have owned for about 10 days, damn my work schedule!
I have been eyeballing the Delkevic set ups and read good things about them. I am also looking at one for my Super Tenere. I have a Two Bros system on my 09 R1 but for my own reasons, I will never buy Two Bros products again.
Has anyone here tried the 10" Carbon can? Is it reasonable with the baffle in? Out?

Just picked up the 8 inch mini carbon fiber with the "y" pipe. The sound difference from stock is impressive to say the least. I left the baffle in and I'm glad I did because it's pretty dang loud as is. Install was easy and it's looking sexy. Great bang for your buck and the quality isn't bad at all. I do plan on getting either a dyno tune or the ecu flash, haven't decided yet. Only thing I thought was weird about the install was the gaskets from the stock system wouldn't fit back in like I was thinking they would. Hopefully this doesn't effect anything.

Does anyone know if the Delkevic decat pipe will work with the stock can? I prefer the look of the stock can

Delkevic does not make a titanium link pipe, too bad, just the stainless unit. I contacted customer support regarding this item and they recommended Graves for the titanium link pipe. Sorry, not going to do another $600 for an 18" pipe. I'll probably go with the 13" stubby or the 9" carbon fiber oval. I'll post pics when I get it installed.

Found a used shorty on Facebook.....$175 shipped. Sounds pretty nice. -11.8 lbs. over stock. Decent. What did you do with the 3rd O2 sensor be the mid pipe? My delkevic mid pipe doesn't have anywhere to plug that in

My delkevic mid pipe doesn't have anywhere to plug that in Unless you're using the Active Tune unit you won't use the third O2 sensor. Factory has the two smaller ones at the beginning of the Y-pipe. And if you're using and Active tune module then you'll only use a big O2 sensor in the last port and will block off the first two.
