Does anyone know what coolant these bikes come with from the factory? Is it the yamacool?
Thank you

More than brand (it's most likely a Yamaha-branded one), what kind? Is it at least a long life one? And if yes, is it OAT? Most long-life OATs are blue or orange/pink, but the global color is 'orange', although it looks more pink than orange to me. Ha ha. The latest kind is P-OAT, which is yellow, and not compatible backwards, meaning you can add a P-OAT to an OAT, but not the other way around. If it's a long life, we shouldn't need to replace it before 5 years, since I doubt anybody will put more than 100K miles in 5 years on their FZ/MT-10. Ha ha. I had to top my reservoir off when new, and used the pre-mixed (blue) Honda long-life coolant. It didn't need much to top it off to the max line.

I haven't changed mine yet...only 6600 miles on my FZ10. I'm going to change it since it's a cheap maintenance procedure. I already run the Honda blue coolant in my older FZ1. It's good coolant.
