I ordered a set of Rox risers from revzilla. I'll post up to let everyone know if they fit/look good or don't work at all. I did the online chat with their support before ordering and they said they could not guarantee they will fit but that I can return them if they don't so I figured I'd give it a shot. Stay tuned. I installed the Rox 2" risers back in June, you can check them out here: fz10.org/thread/2806/new-member-nh Oh, nice! Thanks for sharing. i ordered a set of 1.5" rise, 1" back risers. These: www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/rox-1-12-barback-risers-for-1-18-bars I specified the "machine finish" thinking that would match the bars the most closely.

Right. Not many options out there for these offset clamps. None of these types of universal risers work with the MT10, MT09, and XSR900.

Darn. Well, on the bright side of things in the conversation I had with the Revzilla rep he mentioned he could see I'd never returned anything to them before so if I did need to return them he said he will send me a shipping label so it will be free return shipping for me so at least I won't be out any $. I saved the conversation, for reference and "just in case."

I have the Gilles-Tooling risers. The forward/backward adjustability is really nice. The one thing to note is that the pedestal and spacers it comes with only put it at stock height. I ended up finding another set for sale on ebay for half the price (was not specifically for the FZ-10, but had the same spacers). I added two spacers to each side for a total of 4 per side. So I now have my bar adjusted 25mm back and 10mm higher, which is all you can do without worrying about lengthening you front brake line and lengthening or re-routing your right hand switch wiring. I'm 5' 9" with a 32" inseam and this is pretty much perfect for me. I tried to get another set of spacers from Gilles, but they said they didn't recommend going any higher due to the cable lengths, which is obviously not an issue for just adding 10mm.
Another thing to note: The bolts that came with the set I bought on ebay were longer than the ones in the kit specifically for the FZ-10, so I was able to add the 10mm in height. The bolts in the FZ-10 kit will allow you to go 5mm higher, maybe just a tad more, but if you try to go 10mm, the nut may not thread all the way on the bolt before it gets tight.

Just put these risers in the MT10. Just had to cut the plastic clip holding the wires by the top triple clamp.

I also did what cp3ryder did with the Rox 2" Pivot. I spent more time fiddling with the bar and getting everything centered again than I did actually installing the risers. If a person sets out to do this and has no idea what they're doing, this job might take like two hours. For anybody else looking to do the same thing.. - When you take your throttle cable housing off just put a dab of paint or something on the set pin and place it back on your bar where you want it to make a mark. Drill there. I didn't even need to drill all the way through the bar because the pin is really shallow. As for cable orientation, it really doesn't matter where you drill the new hole. As long as the cables are facing in a general down/kinda forward direction you will have way more slack than you need.
- Unbolt the brake hose from the bracket that also has your horn attached. I turned the tab on the hose to face the other way and tucked that behind the bracket so it wouldn't rub the steering damper.
- Pull the bracket mounted zip ties(that hold your wiring on the left control) loose and adjust your slack, retighten.
- Either unbolt the right duct plastic(two 4mm alans and two push pin rivets) and open the side up to get at the zip tie inside, or if you dgaf just snip the back end of the zip tie that sticks out on that side and pull your slack through the hole. The hole is tight enough that it's not gonna spill all your harness through from vibrations. You'll only need like an inch, maybe inch and a half of extra slack from this one.
Pictures below are the parts that might cause some confusion First one is the backside of the ziptie you can snip if you really wanted to. Second is the brake hose bracket.
