I don't want to remove the cat just yet so am considering other options for now. I was looking at the A&R baffle kit or the Graves slip on. I understand most of the sound is reduced through the stock cat, but will any of these options add just a bit more sound where it's worth the trouble? Couldn't really find any comparisons from stock.
I'm not looking to add more power or have it scream, but a little more would be ideal.

Leave the exhaust all stock or go decat. That's my 2 cents on this very subjective topic.
Before I ordered my 3/4 exhaust, I removed the stock exhaust silencer and left the stock cat installed. I did a couple short rides like this. It didn't have the volume or tone I was after and confirmed my choice to replace the stock cat. I considered a decat with A&R baffle kit (which would probably sound great), but went with 3/4 exhaust instead. My bike sounds AMAZING now! I love the volume, but I try to be cognizant that some of my neighbors may not feel the same. I'm quick to leave if I start the bike early in the morning and no Translogic Pit Lane Warm Up before 8am lol
I went on a few rides with the new exhaust before getting a flash/tune. The bike seemed to run ok, but was SOOOOO much smoother after flashing, tuning, and AIS blockoff plates.

I have the Graves slip-on (without decal), and it looks and sounds amazing. As you can see, the stock can is a straight-thru design, so I didn't expect a big jump in loudness, which is exactly what I didn't want. Also didn't want to lose the cat, with the accompanying awful fuel smell. I was very surprised at how better the Graves slip-on sounded than stock. It's not overly loud, but close to my limit, which is exactly what I wanted. It's a very deep sound, very sporty and aggressive yet not obnoxious; just the way I like it and wanted it. Nobody is going to think it's a stock exhaust, but no neighbor should complain about the noise either, which is the balance I like. I don't like messing with the ECU on modern vehicles, and just slapping a slip-on affords to keep it that way. Finally, everybody has different goals and tastes, so you might think my bike is still tame. But all I can tell you is it sounds quite a bit better than stock in my opinion, looks much better, and the fit and finish of the can look OEM, which I also wanted (no springs or bands here). Hope this helps. Good luck in your choice.

I went with the A&R. It was a bit of work, but looks completely stock. There was some fitment issues so I had to massage the pipe to get everything to seat nicely.
It's definitely louder, sounds great, and just what I was looking for. For me, any louder would start becoming obnoxious and piss off the neighbors for sure.
Aside from the fitment issue, the other downside is the baffle pipe they give you is steel and not stainless. When I unwrapped it, the pipe had orange hazes of rust on it. Hopefully the exhaust will soot it up.
Recommended for the price.

The bike seemed to run ok, but was SOOOOO much smoother after flashing, tuning, and AIS blockoff plates. I went with the Scorpion decat pipe and kept the stock headers and muffler. The link pipe sat a little too far forward towards the motor, so I had to make a small bracket to shift the muffler further forward so it fit the link pipe properly. Easy fix with a piece of metal and a drill. HUGE... like Trump, huuuuugeeee sound improvement. Nice low end brappy sound with mean crackling on hard deceleration. I’ll emphasize, stock headers AND stock muffler. Just getting rid of the cat makes a world of difference. Not sure about power improvement, but my limited riding experience isn’t exactly hurting for power with this thing. I may add a muffler for cosmetic reasons down the road, but it was less of a priority for me.

I'll throw in my two cents in here. From the moment I rode my bike home from the dealer I felt it was way to quiet (can bearly hear it). I drilled out the exup butterfly valve and been riding the bike like that for a couple of weeks now. At idler and off ilde the sound level is bearly louder. On city streets when accelerating it is louder but not hugely louder and while on the freeway its bearly noticeable unless you really crack open the throttle. After doing a bunch of research I've decided when I get the money I'm going the get the MSJ mid pipe and the A&R baffle kit. From the couple of videos on youtube I like the sound of it.Also I really do like the look of the stock muffler, it just flows with the bike nicely. From watching videos the stock muffler with a mid pipe has more of a raspy sound to it vs with the A&R baffle kit it has a more throaty tone.
