Howdy all! I am picking up my MT10 tomorrow, and I am super excited! My question to yall is, I want to put a Power Commander V on my bike due to getting a Two Brothers no cat exhaust, will my stock quick shifter still work or am I going to have to do more work to get the stock shifter to work with the PCV ? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

You can fit a PC5 without have problems with Qs . Suggest to buy also O2 eliminators .

Any reason you're choosing a PC5 over a reflash? ECU flash has so many more features and allows you to unlock factory restrictions. ....... and down the dark, deep mod hole you go

Howdy! The parts guy told me that an ECU flash will unlock more, and have perks like running the cooling fan earlier, he also said to do this if I am going to have this as a track bike, but it will void my warranty. The PCV won't void the warranty, I have ordered the AIS block off plates, a K&N race filter, a servo buddy, and also a Two Brothers no cat exhaust. I am hoping the techs at Fuelmoto USA will have a good map to preload on it (PCV), till I can make my way to an actual dyno at Austin once I break her in. I'm super excited thank yall for the quick replies. I did my best to keep her under 100mph on my way home today, kept her in mode 2, I was impressed, and I'm hoping to be wow'ed in mode 1. While I have yall's attention, how are the TC modes #1 being the most or the least responsive? And thank yall again!

#1is the least responsive. You can turn it fully off by holding down the tc button in one direction

Looks nicer without the red disc carriers and decals now, although that's just my opinion.

The decals were ugly for sure; I removed mine right away (along with all other decals, except the VIN one). The reddish carriers I personally like. And the Pazzo lever adjusters match them, so a welcome but subtle contrast IMO. Other than that, bikes seem identical. I also removed the reflectors, and the ugly and useless seat strap on day 1. The awful tail came out on day 2. He he. Welcome to the family.

the reflectors are so ugly, but i can imagine it being pretty smart to have them there (removed them from my bike too, couldnt deal with them being there).
Wonder if there would be some sort of aftermarket solution to this. Something like a reflective tape that matches the color of the bike until you shine a headlight at them?
I see some people taping some reflective tape around the rims, could do the same if i found strips that match the blue colors of my rims (and dont peel off after a month) so they dont show during the day, yet make me seen in intersections during the night.

Don't know where you can get some (but I bet Google knows!) but I've seen rim tape that matches most wheel colors until light hits it. Then it's quite conspicuous.

The dealership told you that a reflash would void the warrenty? Where do you live man? Here in Aus atleast My dealership and Yamaha themselves told me to go for it. They said it won't do anything to warrenty unless the warrenty work is for blown injectors or something else that would be related to the fueling. Pretty sure they can't legally void warrenty for something like that. Now if you put a different engine in the bike then yeh.

The dealership told you that a reflash would void the warrenty? You realize you can ruin an engine by running it lean, which ANY reflash could absolutely do, right? Every manufacturer has the absolute right to deny any engine-related claim if any such thing was used. And in the case of an ECU reflash, which is electronically irreversible, any manufacturer would justifiable void any engine warranty claim if they find evidence of tampering (they typically always ask dealer to send them an ECU download prior to approval, and they WOULD know if it was 'tuned'). And good luck finding a jury that would side with you when you tamper with the ECU, which is a federal offense. To finish, any sane owner who messed with that, realizes his warranty might be toast. Those who think that's not the case, or that some law (Magnuson Moss) will be on their side, are just plain clueless... at least in the US .
