I'm going the slipon route for now...(long story). I`m planning on doing the exup valve mod(wire it to leave it open). Do i still need a servo buddy?

No. If you leave the servo motor plugged in you don’t need a servo buddy. With an ECU Flash from 2 wheel dynoworks you don’t need the servo motor or a servo buddy because the exhaust servo circuit is deleted.

Well I wouldn't put it that way. It deletes the code for the error. So if you plug the EXUP servo motor back in after the 2wdw ftecu flash, the servo motor will work again. And if you unplug it again, no error code or check engine light.
