I went ahead and bought a servo buddy so I'd have it when I put an exhaust on. Can I just go ahead and take off the servo motor and install my servo buddy with no faults? Or will it throw a code because my ECU is not yet flashed?

As far as I understand what you just described is what the servo buddy should be used for. Once you get an ECU flash you wouldn't even need a servo buddy as the folks at 2WDW told me. You shoild just be able to plug it in now and the bike will think the servo is still there. I'm not reaponsible for any engine error codes you may receive however, so do this at uour own risk. But the way I expect the servo buddy to work, I personally would have no problem just plugging it in now.

But I just wanted to double check first
