Ok, so I think this motovlogger went into this test ride hell bent on finding fault with it, armed with a camera.
I mean he was riding behind a yamaha rep so he didnt een get into the damn power. And he said it felt cheap? This bike has a fully adjustable suspension, cheap does not come to mind when riding this bike.
Watch, and be prepared to be annoyed.

Saw this the other day and couldnt get through but a few minutes. I ride this bike every day and the stuff he said is pretty far fetched along with incorrect riding for his situation. O well he can have his Kawi, I have no interest in that.

Yes, I had a look at this video and commented to him at the time. I felt he was not giving the bike a go. He did the test in Bmode and complained it was unrideable or to snatchy. It is really not the right mode for travelling slow behind the Yamaha dealer, Standard or Amode would have been a far better choice. I think he could have been a bit more open minded and spent the time researching the MT-10 and give it a bit of pock as well. I've just clocked over the 1000klm mark now and just stating to own it.

I would like to just think that he enjoyed just a more linear power delivery from his bikes. I don't really get why he mentioned how the FZ-10 wasn't aggressive because it's not supposed to be aggressive. It is an upright naked bike, not a more aggressively styled street fighter like the Z1000. I personally am glad that the FZ-10 has the crossplane engine which gives it so much character instead of the same old Jap inline 4 engine. I owned a 2013 Kawasaki ZX6R before I got the FZ-10 and that engine was just super smooth but after riding my FZ, I don't think I can ever go back to regular I4s. This was the same reason I didn't get the S1000R. That bike was super fast and amazing in corners and pure performance wise it probably has the upper hand over the FZ-10 but it just doesn't provide the same sort of excitement as the Yam. It was between Aprilia Tuono and Yamaha FZ-10 for me and I'm glad I went with the FZ-10. It just makes every ride a joy.
On a side note, with the comment about the quiet exhaust in the video, the FZ-10 is on the loud side for a stock exhaust. My ZX6R with a stock exhaust was a sewing machine. And you gotta hand it to Kawi for their super ugly stock exhaust designs.
