Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the front brake lines would fit the rcs19 master. Also if it would cause issues with the abs on the bike since I'm adding much more braking power to the front. Already put the brembo sc pads in and it is better but still not as good as I'd like it to be. I'd go an r1 master kit but can't find any that come with everything like the brembo kit does. Also hear the stock lines won't work with the r1 master.

I've heard you could bend the head of the brake line and make them fit to either the R1 master or the Brembo. But I don't think they fit as is. The mount point is farther and at a different angle.
I went with the R1 master but I also splurged for new lines.
Also, you won't affect ABS. The Brembo is much more smoother than the stock master. So it'll be more predictable and will have better feel and more consistent travel. The good thing about the Brembo is it is adjustable. I have one on my ZX6 and it's awesome to adjust it a little more forgiving for street riding, and then dial it up when I hit the track to give me better initial bite and more braking force.
Practice your braking. Go to a parking lot and practice emergency stops from different speeds. If the ABS kicks in, you're not braking right.
Think of the brake lever like the trigger on a gun. If you wack the trigger, bullet misses. Smooth and steady pull on the trigger, bullseye. Brakes are the same way. Progressive braking. Progressively increasing brake force with a smooth and consistent pullback of the lever.

Sweet so either one will be fine with the abs. I was thinking as much since my z1000 i used to have had braided lines and the 19rcs and its abs was fine. So i can get the rcs kit for $440AUD and then would be about $600AUD for braided lines. Im guessing 600 for lines since my z1000 was that much because it needed 5 lines cuz abs. . . Is there much of a difference between the r1s nissin and the brembo? i think the r1 + res and all you need ends up more than the brembo.

Okay so I just ordered the 19rcs and taking it to a local shop that will fit the correct banjo onto the stock lines. One issue is I've been reading up a bit more and apparently the rcs will cause issues with the cruise control? Something to do with the switch of the brake lever. Anyone have any more info on whether or not this is an issue?

Hmm I'm not too competent with electrical mods so I might stay away from that one, thanks for taking the time to post that though. Might see if I can return the rcs and just grab the r1 master instead. Either way my hel lines will fit either. Thanks for the help guys.
