Bike has 350ish miles on it. Did chain maintenance while running on a rear stand. Obviously this triggers the abs light. Reset by turning off TC and getting up to 5-6 mph. Stays off remainder of ride to work. Get off work, turn on bike and abs light is back on again. Tc off reset, ride home. Back on again today. Reset, stays off for ride. Tested it when i got to work just to see and it came back on again. To dealership we go?

The ABS light should come on every time the bike is started, and stay on until moving a couple mph (as you stated), and then automatically turn off. So, that isn’t happening? It doesn’t turn off by itself once you’re rolling?
Running the bike in gear while on a stand will/should trigger a “check engine light”, which cannot be turned off / cleared without the dealer’s help, or buying the necessary hardware to DIY. You don’t have a check engine light? Did you run it in gear while in the stand, or only in neutral?

Maybe im having a tard moment but i dont recall the abs light ever staying on before. I think i need to double check that it turns off on its own without me doing the tc-off-reset.

I let a coworker take it for a rip when i got to work today. I asked him if the abs light stayed on. He said he didnt notice it but wasnt paying attention. He probably wouldve noticed if it was on though. Le'sigh. Maybe im all worked up over nothing lol. I have other stresses with the bike i dont really wanna talk about and now am probably finding problems where they dont exist. 😂

That's normal. The light stays on until it sees wheel speed from the abs sensors. The owners manual mentions something about it IIRC.

You may be having similar "stresses" that some of us have had, when you’re ready to share. I had to adjust to the FZ-10, as it is my first sport bike, and now I love it. 👍🏽

I had to adjust to the FZ-10, as it is my first sport bike, and now I love it. 👍🏽 Cam chain tick sounds too loud to be cam chain tick but everyone says its fine. Ride home from dealer was 250 miles of highway so i did the first oil change right away. Probably shouldnt have. Annd probably shouldn't have done full synthetic. Seem to have oil seeping from oil pan gasket. Also, i over filled it a little. I tried to syphon some out and the hose wouldnt reach the oil so i tried to be reeeal careful with the drain bolt and ended up dumping $80 worth of good oil into a dirty container so i couldnt re-use it. 4.1 quarts later i still managed to overfill it somehow even though i was being so careful not too. It looked good in the garage after a few minutes of idling but after actually riding it the oil level is a touch high. Just barely at the top of the glass. And today i put my hand over the exaust for a second and it seemed to possibly an oily residue on my hand, maybe it was condensation i dont know. Seemed to not do it when it got good and hot. Basicly im stressed af and just feel a big ass idiot.

I always just put in 4L of oil. Owner's manual says 3.9L of oil without oil filter change and 4.1L with oil filter change. I change the filter same time as i put new oil in. 4L seems to be perfectly fine and you dont have to mess around with the 0.1L.

Id have to double check but i swear mine said 4.1 without a filter change and like 4.3 with one.

I'm Canadian so i go with liters but you guys go with quarts down in the states

I bet your ABS light is just fine, and it goes out normally after a few feet.
If you don’t have a CEL after running it in gear on a stand (like many of us have found out), then you y have gotten lucky. Maybe you didn’t run it in gear long enough to trigger the CEL.
I was quite bothered by the noisy cam chain too. I was certain that there was something wrong. I took it to the dealer, with about 1,000 miles on it, so that they could fix whatever the problem was. They listened to it and rode it, and assured me that it sounded completely normal. They explained that these crossplane inline 4s are just noisy. And then they charged me $125 for their "services". Haha. I have nearly 10,000 miles on it now, and I’m not sure if things have settled into place and it has quieted down, or I’ve just gotten used to it. Either way, I don’t hear it much anymore.
For what it’s worth, I also spent about 2,000 miles figuring out drive chain tension. At first, my drive chain was so freakin' noisy, that I could hear it rattling around over the noise of the engine, exhaust, and the cam chain. Haha. Even with my full face helmet on. It took me awhile to figure out that the FZ-10 is very finicky with its preferred drive chain tension. It likes it a little on the tight side. If I keep it right at 25mm (on a stand), the drive chain runs super smooth and quiet.
I bet it’s all just fine, and you’re just getting used to the new noises.

And i think youre right about the drive chain. Mine was quite on the looser side and i snugged it up to 25mm of play as well and a noise i thought i was hearing seems to have subsided and i just now put it together, lol... That oil seep has me seriously worked up tho.

OP, R-E-L-A-X, you are obsessing over nothing, and wasting oil in the process. It's not that critical on the oil level.

With only 350 miles on the clock things are still bedding in, give it a little time before calling in the cavalry. The pan bolts might need retorqing, not a biggie.
Be careful on the drive chain tension, better to have it a little loose than too tight. Too tight and you stress the whole system. There is a tendency to set the slack too tight to keep it quiet.
