Hello all, From when I first had the bike, I had a gripe about how the clutch cable completely blocks the ignition, and I basically have to push the cable out of the way to put the key in.
I also have been annoyed by a squeeky noise from the clutch cable rubbing, when I turn the handle to the left.
Today I noticed on the right side (while sitting on the bike) as the cable goes down on to the right, there seems to be a guide that the cable is supposed to go through but isn't.
I will attach a picture to hopefully depict it. Please let me know if someone can take a look at their bike and verify if the clutch cable goes through the guide.
Thanks!

Last year a user posted about a similar issue. Some people said there was some slack left in the cable that was hidden down below and that the cable IS supposed to pass through that guide. I would check your cable slack and make sure the routing is correct. Sounds like it is not.
I've never had this issue, or at least I haven't noticed having to push my clutch cable out of the way to put the key in.

I would imagine the service manual might have specific instructions on the cable routing. Might want to check that out. And let us know how it turns out. Looks like this is a common issue.

Thank you for the response. I tried to push the slack out from the bottom and pulled the cable up a little. It seems to be alright now (doesn't squeak as much) and has more space to put the key in the ignition without moving the cable.
My clutch cable does not go through the guide(clip) as others have mentioned. I also did angle my handlebar a tad forward so that the clutch and brake levers fall perfectly under my fingers without me having to bend my wrists. I would think moving it forward would have given it more slack.
I may have the dealer check and see if the cable needs to go through the guide.
Thanks again!
