By clutchless upshifts we mean to close the throttle a fraction of a second before you pull the shift lever up without pulling the clutch. I've had many bikes with QSs, so I perfectly know what they do (and how they do it too ). The problem is many bikes equipped with QSs are very clunky when doing clutchless upshifts; they just don't like it. Hence my question on the FZ-10. Clutchless shifts are very easy on the transmission when done right, and quicker than clutched shifts... but not as quick as a QS, obviously, since you don't close the throttle with those. Also, clutchless shifts are cake when leisurely shifting, something most QSs don't like (they work best when engine is loaded and at higher rpm), so if you can have both with a QS, it'd be the best of both worlds for me. Did I make myself understood now?
