Its much easier to do this from a laptop This is the post I was referring to; fz10.org/thread/525/And this is where I found the open white connector under the boot which would seem to plug to the heated grip harness. Copied the image from SLV's post. slv (Big thanks for your awesome post, made the job way easy )

I am curious to know if that indeed is the connector for the heated grips. I could be completely wrong, I was trying to figure out what its for myself. Also, where did you get the heated grips and how much do they run?

I took a look under that boot on the left side. The black female connector is where I pulled out my left O2 sensor from. The white male connector looks like it would fit your heated grip female socket.

I took a look under that boot on the left side. The black female connector is where I pulled out my left O2 sensor from. The white male connector looks like it would fit your heated grip female socket. I believe that is where the factory quickshifter installs if I recall correctly. I certainly remember it is in that boot, and it looks like you still have the stock shift arm.

I know this is old, but after a quick look at the wiring diagram I think we got the 12v cigarette outlet instead of the female aux plug they get on mt09s.

I had dealer call Yamaha for answer. They didn't know where the plug would be either.
