I got tired of the quite squeaky horn from the factory and didn't wanna pay a fortune for a "motorcycle horn" so i went to my local parts store, harbor freight, and pick up a pair of their horns for $10; works like a charm! All i did was disconnect the old horn and use the same mounting hardware from it. you just gotta find a position where the horn clears everything; i checked all the positions. I'll include some pictures.

So, is it a lot louder? I’ve never used the horn on a motorcycle, except when hitting that little button by accident. On past bikes, with loud pipes, I actually took the horn off and threw it in the garbage. Looked better without it, and couldn’t hear it over the pipes, anyway. I’m gonna relocate the FZ-10 horn this Summer (off-season) to conceal it. fz10.org/post/11842/thread

If I don't like it I'll probably just go back to stock or try out that relocated one. Would look alot nicer that way.

Did you install a relay with the new horn? Louder horns usually draw more current and most stock horn buttons can't take the extra current and you'll end up with a fried circuit. Not sure how more powerful the new horn is, but it is something to be considered any time a horn upgrade is contemplated.
