We've been kicking around the idea of carrying some select exhaust systems. It's really the only void we have in our line up for the FZ-10 from a performance perspective. So that said, the debate is on Arrow exhausts.
All in all, they make a quality product and there are a plethora of options when it comes to muffler design (style, finish, end cap) and header (catalyzed and non-catalyzed). Since we'll be importing these from Italy, we're trying to put feelers out there to get an idea on which options we should stock. As a result, we're kicking around the idea of running a group buy since we'll be placing an initial order anyway. You don't even need to buy for an FZ-10 on this buy...
If you're interested in pricing, send us a PM. If you have a strong opinion on the style of muffler you're interested in, please vote now!
We need 5 parties to commit so that we can move out on this. The running list is:
1. FZ09.org forum member 2. FZ09.org forum member 3. 4. 5.
Update: For anyone on the fence, we'll be running a combo promo with our FT-ECU flashing kit w/ Active Tuning. As always, we'll provide our baseline throttle maps to get you started. This will give you complete control over the ECU! For details, see here:
For what it’s worth, I’d love to see some discreet, clean, belly-exit options — either 3/4 systems or slip-on tips. Something other than the traditional can hanging on the side.
Yeah those cans on the side hide the swing arm so horribly. Reminds me of ricers.
You know, to each his own, that's just my personal preference.
Stoltec is a great company and an asset to the Fz/Mt 10, just wanted to express why I didn't vote.
For sure. No negative dissent intended. Just a humble opinion for Stoltec to consider. 😉
I'd really be interested in a clean belly-exit that exits symmetrically on both sides! I’m not aware that anything like this exists for the 10. The position of the drive train may make this impractical.

It's no harm, guys. I agree that this bike looks best with something under the bike. That's why our bike always had the stock exhaust...
That said, if you're in the market for an exhaust for one of your other bikes, send a PM. If we're shipping international freight, it doesn't matter why system is it. We might not stock the Arrow for the -10, but will probably for the -09.
Pictures of the Arrow system on the 10 are really lacking. Are there any photos with the link pipe installed? Arrow seems have a good price point, but the can are awful high. My choice would be for a half system with the Titanium Indy Race can.

willbuybikes: Hi evitzee, thanks for responding, it looks like the switch has fixed it. The luggage wasn’t full, it worked fine and the bike handled beautifully through the tight, twisty roads. The luggage is Ventura from NZ. I had a professional setup my suspension.

willbuybikes: It seems to be worse when it is full of fuel and opening the filler cap changes nothing. Apparently the dealer bench tested the fuel pump and said it was fine.

willbuybikes: I believe the switch replacement has fixed the cruise control problem. As for the starting issue, I suspect I will have to wait another 6 months to see if it is fixed, as we are heading into winter. I always assumed it was fuel related.

willbuybikes: Hi RedAndBlack, thanks for responding, no I have not cleaned my chain on the race stand but my mate with an MT-10SP has and he had the warning light come on and couldn’t change ride settings, like engine mapping. I only oil my chain that way and not long..
