Hey guys, Looking to buy a Hero 5 Session. How can i mount this to my helmet.. I have a Sena 20s on the left.. can this mount either on top or to the side? I use a Bell Revolver EVO Modular. What comes with the camera?

Chin mount has been my preference. No easy for some helmets. My NEXX helmet I did the mount off to the side of the chin and just had to use an extra extension arm to get it to face forward.
The reason I like chin mount is the video looks most centered while at the same time, not dragging in the wind like a top mount does.

I also have a Sena on the left and mounted the Session on the same side. I don't really notice a lot of drag and it provides a good view of everything. Mounted: What the GoPro picks up: Hope that helps!

I'm very interested in both the side and chin mount.. I don't know if a chin mliny will work with my modular helmet though. Back to the gopro... are they hard to set up and start recording? Can I use my cell phone S8 to control the hero?

www.proshotcam.comit may seem dorky at first glance but the great thing about this is it only needs a couple small bits of velcro on the helmet to attach and when you don't want to use the camera you can pop off the device and have a clean helmet. After trying several methods this has proved to be the best camera mount for me. It keeps the go pro tight to the chin and not hanging out off a bunch of adapters.

You can adjust settings in the GoPro or on the app and you can pull videos and see the live view on your phone for aiming. Recording is a matter of pressing one button.
