24; I feel like most people around my age can't really afford this bike. Hence the older group we have on here.

This bike is not expensive though so I don't think that is the deal. I think the under 30 crowd still wants to get on supersports. The 30+ crowd may like their supersports for the track but for everything else they was that supersport power and feel with a little more comfort

39, but the FZ-10 makes me feel like I'm 37 again. Those were the days. My previous bike, the CBR 600RR, made my body feel like I was 70 after an hour and a half of riding, and I think it's one of the more comfortable supersports. Holy cow... I think we might be separated twin brothers... Same age, same previous bike, and we both clearly like Futurama. And I 100% believe the CBR600RR is the most comfortable supersport.

I turn 27 this month. Got my first street bike on my 18th birthday. Rode quads and dirt bikes through Jr High and High School. Street bikes went CBR600 F4i, 1200 Sportster, BMW K1200RS, FJR1300 (Still Have), and now MT10.

66, and still enjoy the feel of a good adrenaline rush which the FZ-10 can provide plenty of. It's a lot of fun pulling up to the home improvement store and watch the looks you get when you take the helmet off. I hope I never "grow up".

Today is my 71st birthday. I traded in my GSXS-1000 on the MT-10 as a birthday gift from me to me. Riding the Yamaha seems to take about a half century off my age. My wife is a nurse, so I explained to her that the MT was the least expensive high volume adrenaline pump I was able to find. She's OK with the bike, but she doesn't seem to be buying in to the medical benefits. Go Figure.

56 here, but look much younger. Have owned bikes since my first, an awesome 1986 CB700 Nighthawk S. Bought over 2 dozen more after that. Sold my last (2015 Concours 1400) almost new because was too weak to ride. After 3+ years battling a rare leukemia, I'm still not 'winning', but strong enough to ride again, so buying an MT-10 to ride while I can. I got into sports cars while sick, but they don't compare. Plus they're waaaay more expensive, so happy to jump back to bikes. Ha ha. Sold the Porsche already, selling the Audi S6, will buy a truck, and haul my damn bike everywhere I can to enjoy what I love, while I can . Hope it's at least a year. Will know my fate in July, after a biopsy. Wish me luck .

52 feeling like 32 acting like 18. I'm thankful that I can still ride and greatdul that this bike has cruise control. I hated riding my previous R1 cross handed.

42 but the FZ-10 is my 5th bike. Couldn't handle being hunched over my sport bike after a few surgeries on my back from removing a stage 3 spindle cell sarcoma (20+ cm of tissue). Almost two years since my chemo and radiation treatments. Just glad I am still here and can ride. That's what it's all about!

56.5...getting a few aches and pains, but haven't lost any of my youthful speed and skills. Honestly I just bought my FZ10 about a month ago and it wasn't love at first ride. Throttle way to sensitive, wheelies were making it difficult to ride it like my 2009 FZ1 (that's tricked out and dialed in) and the revalved suspension was way to harsh and the engine braking was real annoying. I putted it around and started liking it more and more(the motor is awesome), but I still like my Gen2 FZ1 better on the track and favorite back roads. We'll I finally took it for a group ride with some very fast guys on track prepped bikes with slicks etc...I was sure that I would be following some guys mid pack...dealing with the nagging little problems I'm having adjusting to the bikes little quirks...suspension,throttle etc.
But, as usual I don't know how to just lay back...even if the bike isn't working as good yet as I want it to...I was pushing the Michelin RS power tires to the max. It wasn't perfect, but I was starting to enjoy it and pretty much smoked everyone. The guy with a tricked out Ducati 1098 with slicks(fast guy who knows the road) told me I was leaving darkies all over the place. I knew I was spinning the RS power rear a lot...especially on the left side...but was surprised when he said I was leaving black marks out of fast and slow corners...I don't think I've ever done that...maybe it's the TC and modern electronics that I was getting used to?
Now I'm getting excited to put my box of mods on I have it the garage. Ohlins TTX GP, Woodcraft rearsets, Woodcraft bar lowering kit(3.5" lower than stock), 520 conversion chain & sprocket kit, R1 titanium header W/R1 Two Brothers shorty SR1 exhaust. I'm moving the axle back about 1-1.25", dropping front 5-10mm, raising rear 1/4-1/2" and of course put my favorite race tires on my R1 magnesium rims.
This bike is already growing on me and it's about to become a true animal that handles like a track weapon. I'm obviously not into touring... 56 and taking no prisoners...watch out whipper snappers.

She thinks it's making me get tired, sore or injuring myself. I told her the reason I'm sore and stiff after one of my 125 mile back road blitz rides with the fast boys is because it's like running a marathon or playing a game of football...it's very physical the rides I do. Even the youngster on our rides are whining how tired and sore they get...does someone need a cookie and some milk.
